Key stage results

Early Years Foundation Stage

Children are defined as having achieved a Good Level of Development (GLD) if they achieve at least the expected level in the three prime areas of learning (communication and language; physical development; and personal, social and emotional development) and in the specific areas of mathematics and literacy.

In 2018, 91% of pupils attained a Good Level of Development (GLD) at the end of Reception, this is significantly above both local and national average.

In 2017, 82% of pupils attained GLD, this is well above local and national average.

Key Stage 1

The first cohort of children at Kingston Community School completed Key Stage 1 of the curriculum in July 2018 with our second cohort due in July 2019

Y2 Reading 83% this is well above local and national average.

Y2 Writing 79% this is well above local and national average.

Y2 Maths 90% this is significantly above both local and national average.

Y2 Science 93% this is significantly above both local and national average.

In the 2018 Year One Phonics test, 82% of our children passed the test, which is above the national average.

In the 2017 Year One Phonics test, 83% of our children passed the test, which is above the national average.
